HTC has just released an updated version of the Butterfly with the Butterfly S, it has many significant improvements overy the first generation Butterfly, the main one being a huge battery has been added in. The first-gen smartphone came with a measly 2020 mAh battery, the HTC One had a slightly bigger 2300 mAp which the 3200 mAh which is in the same league as the Galaxy Note II. The display is a comfortable 5 inches and while we had hoped that it would come with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor we’ll have to settle for a 1.9Ghz Snapdragon 600. If you’re keeping track you’ll notice that it’s actually clocked higher than the HTC One’s 600 that runs at 1.7Ghz.

Under the hood we’ve got 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on board storage that is paired with a Micro SD card so you can add in another 32GB if you’re keen. Software wise we’ve got Jelly Bean, but we have no idea if it’s 4.1 or 4.2 as well as Sense 5 and quad-band HSPA/WCDMA, plus all the usual Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC, GPS. The cameras are identical to those sported by the One – Ultrapixel snapper on the back and 2.1 MP front cam.
