The Toshiba Portege Z20t is a business focused 2 in 1 that sports a trackpoint in its detachable keyboard that will be make ThinkPad users do a double take.
The Toshiba Portege Z20t is a 12.5 inch tablet with a resoultion of 1920 x 1080 which houses an Intel Core M processor with up to 8GB of RAM and SSD options from 256-512GB.
Being a business focused device it is nice to see the trackpoint show up in the keyboard, this is a feature that has kept many ThinkPad users loyal. It is composed of a rough soft touch plastic that feels comfortable to grip.
The keyboard doesn’t stop there with exceptional features. The base comes with an additional battery which takes the tablet from 9 hours of use to 17.5 when you dock it. The weight makes it very comfortable to use the touch screen with out any tipping issues. It is also spill resistant and comes with 2 USB 3.0 ports, full size HDMI, VGA and Ethernet port. In laptop mode there is also a lock that will slop the tablet from accidentally detaching.

The hinge is also reversible so the tablet can be turned around so it looks like a stand. The keyboard does add a bit of weight taking it up to 3.3 pounds with is on the heavy side for a Core M device.
If that wasn’t enough reason to love the detachable dock, the Z20t is paired with a Wacom digitizer with 2,048 points of sensitivity. If you just go for the tablet version, you won’t get the big pen but you will have a smaller stylus that is stowed inside the tablet itsef.
The tablet it self is light enough for one hand use and it comes with good connectivity options with its microUSB, micro HDMI, and microSD card reader.
The Toshiba Portege Z20t will be made available beginning later in January starting at $1,400.
